Store Policy: let’s correct some broken rules!

So You thought you had found the perfect Chanel Holla hoop bag (I won’t judge your taste), but discovered it’s as fake as your New Year’s resolution to lose 15 pounds.

Despite missing the return deadline, you don’t need to worry, cause I got you!

First, take a deep breath and try not to freak out (unless you’re a drama queen like me, then scream away). And please, turn off autocorrect on your phone, not the time for embarrassing typos. You don’t want “I want my money back” to be “I want my mommy back”; that’s just not good.

Next, explain in detail why your bag is FAKE AF (you have permission to use any language in this section), and make it clear that you demand a refund. And no store credit or exchanges. We want our money back, and we want it now!

And then just copy and paste this:

Dear store,

I am writing to inform you that (in a calm voice) you may have a slight problem with your store policy…(SCREAMING) IT LOOKS LIKE YOU GOT A CASE OF STORE POLICY IS VOIDED! Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system.

Soooo, You have sold me a fake bag and even though I passed the return window timeframe I demand full refund and here is why.

  1. Counterfeit products are illegal: Consumer protection guidelines state that it is illegal to sell counterfeit products.

2. The shop’s return policy doesn’t not apply: The return policy is based on the assumption that the product being returned is genuine and can be resold. But in this case, the shop sold a counterfeit product that is illegal and cannot be resold.

3. Violation of consumer protection laws: If the shop sold a counterfeit product that was misrepresented as genuine, they have violated consumer protection laws that protect consumers from unfair, or fraudulent business practices.

4. Implied warranties protect consumers: it protect consumers when they purchase goods or services. The warranty of merchantability is a common implied warranty that means goods sold by a merchant are of a certain quality and will perform as intended. If the shop sold a counterfeit product, they may have breached this warranty. Just make sure to check the duration of that warranty because it varies from state to another. For example In Texas I think it’s 4 years, California 1 year.

5. Buyer caused no loss: As the buyer, you caused no loss to the shop by returning the counterfeit product because they were not entitled to keep payment for a fake product in the first place.

That was an extensive research for you but I hope you never need it.

However, these down below come with a lifetime warranty.
