Decoding the Chip
The Advantages of RFID Technology
RFID technology in designer leather goods factories provides security, enhanced tracking and inventory control, streamlined customer service, valuable data analysis, seamless integration with digital systems, and a more polished appearance. The implementation of RFID chips ensures secure product authentication, efficient supply chain tracking, improved customer service, data-driven insights, and a shift away from traditional serial numbers or embossing.
Chanel uses Laser Etching marking instead of the Laser engraving.
Laser etching is a fast and precise process that creates permanent markings by melting the material’s surface. The etched markings have a high contrast, appearing as white or black depending on the beam reflection. It is commonly used for producing raised marks such as data matrix codes, serial numbers, barcodes, and logos on metals. The process is environmentally friendly and offers excellent visual effects.
The Microscopic Overlapping Grooves.
Laser etching creates microscopic overlapping grooves or spirals on a chip’s surface. The spacing between each circle is determined by the laser pulses, and these grooves, spacing, and their color serve as authenticity factors.
The diffractive nature of these grooves causes light to undergo diffraction and form interference patterns, resulting in the appearance of a holographic image.
Character Composition of RFID Chips
The chip can be programmed to include all letters, a combination of letters and numbers (alphanumeric), or solely consist of letters without numbers. However, it is required to have at least one letter value on the chip.Purely numeric chips are not seen YET.
Missing letters
The following letters are not included on your Chip: B, D, F, I, M, O, Q, R, S, V, W, Y, Z. For the following reasons:
Visual Similarities: To avoid confusion, For instance, the letter “B” might be mistaken for the number “8,
“D” for “O,” “Z” for “2,” and “” for “1.”
Space Utilization: Wider letters such as W and M occupy more space on the Chip. For example, the letter
W. It’s practically a “double U.”
Engraving Complexity: Letters with intricate shapes, like Y, Q, and R, pose challenges when engraving for clarity and legibility.
The Plaque
The authenticity of the plaque is determined by various factors, including its exact measurements in terms of width, length, and depth from different parts, the exact shade of color (gold or silver), the unique light reflections and holographic effects it exhibits, and the specific placement of the chip within each handbag.
The Unexpected Twist.
You see, the significance of the CC interlocking engraved logo goes far beyond aesthetics; it holds a deeper purpose!
That’s the extent of what I can reveal publicly, but the remaining treasures are safely locked within the chambers of my heart.
