Smudged heat stamp.
This issue is very common to the point where it is not a flaw anymore!
When they do the foil stamping and the heat printing machine is set on higher temperature or when the time set for longer the interior leather area where they stamp gets hot and the dye get softened and transfers to the hot white/gold foil and will cause a color transfer to the stamp and end up with (a heat stamp with color hue). This is always more visible on white foil heat stamps, not gold. ( colors look more visible on white background). It’s usually is a sign that the dye used is not good quality or the leather is freshly dyed. If this same issue occurred while heat stamping Leather with high-quality dye or leather that has been dyed long ago, we see the foil bleeds into the leather and end up with (a smudged heat stamp).
Regardless, this is not a part of authenticity.
