Article: A NEW TREND?

A NEW TREND?

A NEW TREND?

I have come across another vintage medium classic flap that went through the same alteration as her sister lambskin from yesterday’s post on instagram. The difference this time is that it’s black (caviar) with Bordeaux lining. For this flap, it took me one nanosecond to give a verdict, lol. The production of BLACK caviar medium flaps took place during the uprooting era for Chanel, starting from 1998 ( late 1997/98C) to 2000. During this time, the brand underwent significant changes, including major ones such as the discontinuation of the Diana flap and the introduction of the Medium Classic Flap in CAVIAR as a new signature addition to their collection of revolving styles 00P➡️00T➡️00V/revolving.

Before the introduction of Bordeaux lining for the medium black caviar in 2009 series 13xxxxx, black caviar medium classic flaps were manufactured with black interior lining exclusively.
